A single vehicle motorcycle crash led to the 20th highway fatality in Wyoming for 2015 on Sunday. 35 year old William E. Welsbacher of Wheatland, Wyoming, was on Wyoming Highway 320 on a motorcycle at the time of the crash. The crash occurred at 4:45 p.m. on Hwy 320 approximately eight miles north of Wheatland.

While traveling south, Welsbacher failed to negotiate a right hand curve in the road and ran off the highway to the east. Welsbacher lost control of the motorcycle as it rolled and tumbled. Welsbacher separated from the bike and died at the scene. Welsbacher was not wearing a helmet. Excessive speed and alcohol use are being investigated as contributing factors in this crash.
