CODY, Wyo. (AP) — Roads to Yellowstone National Park's most popular locations will be closing as the park beings preparation for the winter season.

The park will close most of its roads to vehicle travel on Monday.

The park will begin preparing the roads for guided snowmobile and snowcoach travel beginning Dec. 15.

The road from the park's north entrance to the northeast entrance will remain open to provide access to the communities of Cooke City, Silver Gate and Mammoth Hot Springs.
