Gas prices in Wyoming increased marginally last week.

GasBuddy.com senior petroleum analyst Patrick DeHaan says the average price for a gallon of regular jumped less than two cents last week to $3.41.

“That’s coming on the heels of (dropping) oil prices, which two weeks ago made a decline of about $7 per barrel last week,” DeHaan said. “That has led to a bit of a respite in the price of gas.”

DeHaan says Wyoming motorists can expect incremental gains this week.

“Prices will likely see very small gains compared to what we’ve seen in the last month or two,” DeHaan said. “By next week, prices in the state of Wyoming will have likely increased just another penny or two per gallon.”

Gas is selling for as low as $3.18 in Casper, $3.35 in Cheyenne and $3.33 in Laramie. The national average remains unchanged at $3.51.
