Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says he's hearing a lot of questions about Cheyenne from companies considering doing business here. Microsoft announced last week that it is locating a data center in the capital city, which is expected to add 40 well-paying jobs to the local economy. The mayor says he knows of recent inquiries by restaurants, retail outlets and other commercial ventures. He says their questions typically center on such topics as the cost of property, the cost of doing business, and the tax structure. While it's unclear how many of the businesses  might actually end up locating in Cheyenne, Kaysen says the interest in the city can only be good news for the local economy.
