Massive Fire Consumes Lander Community Center

Fire crews were called out Thursday afternoon to a fire at the Lander Community Center, which was engulfed in flames.  The fire was first reported by County 10 News.

According to the Lander Community Center website, the facility is a 9,518 square foot facility with a capacity of nearly 900.  The building is used for weddings, receptionis, dances and meetings.  It’s not known if anyone was in the building at the time of the fire.
