Man’s Car Stolen While He Was Shoplifting Gives His Plea

A man accused of felony theft on Black Friday appeared in District court for his arraignment Tuesday. Christopher Dawdy pleaded guilty to charges of felony theft. Prosecutors say on Nov. 29, Dawdy and two of his cohorts came to Laramie and stole various electronics . According to court documents, when Dawdy exited the Walmart with the stolen property, he was left by his fellow thieves in the parking lot. Christopher Dawdy is currently free on a $10,000 signature bond. District Judge Jeffrey Donnell  will give sentence once he receives the Pre-Sentence Investigation of Dawdy.
