A Wyoming task force, which is led by the US Marshals Service, is looking for a Cheyenne man with a history of violent crimes on an outstanding federal arrest warrant.

Marshals Service spokesman Justin Stephenson says the Wyoming Fugitive Task Force is looking for 37-year-old Joshua Miller, who is wanted on a pre-trial violation on original weapons charges, including possession of a stolen firearm.

Miller is described as being a 6-foot, 4-inch tall white male weighing 160 pounds. Stephenson says Miller has brown hair, which he often shaves completely off. He also has brown eyes and often wears glasses.

Miller in the past has been arrested for assault. domestic violence and interference with a peace officer. Stephenson says MIller's recent arrest on weapons charges adds to his profile as a potentially violent criminal.

Besides being a Cheyenne resident Miller also has relatives in Laramie County.

Anyone with information on Miller is being asked to call the Laramie County Sheriff's Department at (307) 633-4732,  Cheyenne Police Dispatch at (307) 637-6524, the Silent Witness Hotline at (307) 638- TIPS (8744) or the US Marshals Service at (307) 772-2196.
