It seems that more often than not, there comes changes to the rules. Whether it's at work, at home or on the field, to include Major League Baseball.  Friday, February 20, 2015 marks the day when Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association announced that there would be some changes to the rules to help improve the pace at which the ballplayers play.

One of the changes is directed at the managers. They must now make instant replay challenges from their dugouts rather than on the field. Also, hitters must now keep one foot in the batter's box between pitches, unless, or course, there is some kind of agreed and established agreement.

Other changes include immediate play resuming upon broadcasts returning to the air and timed pitching changes were decided also.

The penalties for any violations to these new rules will be applied starting in May 2015 which will include minimal fines instead of balls and strikes. The focus behind the agreed rule changes is to change the players' habits and not just to penalize them.
