Buffalo Ridge Elementary went into lock down at approximately 2:35 p.m. today (Monday, Oct. 29.) Laramie county school district number one spokeswoman Mary Quast says the
action was taken as a precaution due to alleged reports of three females walking with what appeared to be a gun case near the area of Sheridan Street and Pineridge Avenue.
Cheyenne Police Department investigated the situation. When police determined the surrounding area to be safe, the lock down was lifted at 2:57 p.m.
