Volunteerism is no stranger to the city of Cheyenne. More information is being given to the public on how they can do that and where.   The Cheyenne Frontier Days General Committee is holding its first-time-ever volunteer fair to help get out more information to those who are interested in volunteering. The presentation won't take much of your time.

The brief presentation will entail comments and instruction about functionality of 10 volunteer committees. Following this event, the public will be able to engage in "speed dating" where attendees can meet with and talk with the 10 committee representatives and exchange ideas.

Applications for those who are interested in volunteering will be taken that evening. CFD is also encouraging attendees to bring a friend.

It all takes place Thursday, November 20 at 5 p.m. The volunteer fair will be held at the Buckle Club, which is located on the second floor of the Exhibit Hall in Frontier Park.

For more information and details about the fair, please call CFD Headquarters at 307-778-7200.
