Cheyenne LEADS is pleased to announce Janet Ady, President and CEO of Ady Voltedge will be the special guest speaker at its 26th Annual Membership Meeting & Banquet, to be held Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Holiday Inn in Cheyenne.  No-host cocktails start at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m.

Ady is an expert in economic development research, marketing and strategy, consulting with local government and economic development organizations to attract business investment. She had the opportunity to travel across Wyoming late last year and evaluate economic development opportunities and marketing strategies and will be sharing much of what she learned.  “Recognizing the advantages and opportunities across Wyoming for business growth and economic development are critical at both the local and state levels. Working together through coordinated marketing efforts, will help secure future business retention, expansion and attraction,” Ady said.

 

In addition to Ady’s presentation, agenda items of the Membership Meeting include the Treasurer’s Report, recognition of outgoing Board members and nominations for the vacant Board positions. Outgoing Board members to be recognized for their service are Jim “Murph” Murphy, Senior Principal with AVI Engineering, P.C. and Kim Sutherland of #1 Properties.  The Nominating Committee reviewed 11 excellent candidates for the vacant elected positions and have nominated Jody Malm, Owner of Pinnacle Cabinets; Mark Rupert, Attorney with Holland & Hart; and John Clay, Financial Advisor with RBC Dain Rauscher.

 

Reservations are being accepted now - Corporate tables of eight are available for $550 and Individual seating is available for $50 each. Corporate sponsorships are also available for $1000 for companies interested in making an additional contribution. Reservations will be accepted through April 5, 2013 or until tables are full. Cancelations requested after April 5, 2013 will be non-refundable.
