LCCC Board Announces Upcoming Meetings

The Laramie County Community College Board of Trustees announced its upcoming meeting for July.

According to a news release, the board will meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, in the Petersen Board Room to hold an annual public budget hearing and a regular business meeting.

Additionally, the Board will hold a retreat from 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday, July 18, in the Petersen Board Room. Potential trustee candidates are invited to visit with the Board at noon about trustee responsibilities and expectations.

This year’s general election ballot will have three available trustee positions, each for four-year terms. The filing dates for community college trustee are August 6-25.

If necessary, an executive session may follow the meetings. Board meetings are open to the public; executive sessions are not.

Finally, the board’s Facilities and Finance Committee will meet at 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, in the Administration Building’s conference room. This meeting is open to the public.
