LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — A Laramie man and a Fort Collins woman he was suspected of kidnapping are both behind bars after the woman managed to call 911.

Laramie police say 24-year-old Janie Boer called authorities around 2 a.m. Sunday to report she was being abducted in a Mitsubishi Eclipse. Her call was tracked to 25 miles south of the Colorado-Wyoming border.

A Wyoming state trooper and two Laramie police officers later stopped the car and arrested 26-year-old Jacob Heller.

The woman was also arrested for unrelated felony warrants from Weld County in Colorado.

Both were being held in the Albany County Jail awaiting extradition to Colorado. It wasn't immediately clear if they had lawyers yet.
