The unusually warm, dry, fall weather in Laramie County recently has created conditions for grass fires in the area, with two such fires reported in recent days.

Exact details on the size and locations of the blazes have not been confirmed as of yet, but according to a post on the Laramie County Fire District#1 Facebook page, crews from fire districts 1 and 2 were called out to fight blazes on Saturday and Sunday night.

The post on the second fire called the blaze ''large'' and said it happened northeast of Cheyenne. Both fires were reportedly put out fairly quickly. Local temperatures have been ranging into the 50s and even 60s in recent days, and the fire danger has been made worse by occasional strong winds.

But a cooling trend is expected to start Tuesday, with high temperatures only forecast in the 40s.
