Laramie County Fire District #2 Election Results

Laramie County Fire District #2 (LCFD#2) congratulates new board member Tyler Barttelbort who will fill the two-year position; and welcomes back incumbents Dirk DeShaney, Angela Moffett and Steve Price each serving a four-year term. Diane Martin also remains on the board having served two years in her four-year term.

Fire Chief Jason Caughey is looking forward to continued leadership and guidance from the board, “I feel confident in the direction we are headed as an organization; we are providing advanced training, staffing more shifts and acquiring crucial resources needed to serve our community.”

According to a news release this year’s election was a mail-in ballot and Elections Judge, Diane Martin, said, “There were a total of 3188 votes cast which is the largest response in Laramie County Fire District #2 history. I feel confident in the results and congratulate the candidates.”

Board members were sworn in at the November 2014 board meeting by Laramie County Commissioner Amber Ash.
