Even though fall is just beginning, it’s not too early to think about the next steps of a college education. To help that process, Laramie County Community College will host a College Transfer Fair.

The event takes place 1-2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, in the Student Lounge located in the College Community Center. Nearly 20 universities and four-year colleges from across the region will be represented.

“Preparing to transfer is similar to setting out on an adventure,” Josh Nighswonger, LCCC admissions representative, said. “You devise a roadmap to locate the steps to help you navigate the process, you discover treasures along the way, and you actually spur motivation throughout the journey.”

The fair is open to LCCC students – both those getting ready to graduate and those just planning ahead – as well as community members looking to explore new educational opportunities.
