The Laramie festival week known as Jubilee Days started, in 1940, as a celebration of Wyoming's Statehood Day on July 10th.  Although Jubilee Days has expanded well past one day, Laramie still honors Wyoming's induction into the United States in 1890 with a day filled with history, activities and fun.

This year's Wyoming Statehood Day celebration took place at the Territorial Prison State Historic Site in West Laramie.  Attendees were able to gather together and enjoy hot dogs, cake, balloon animals, games, a rubber band shooting gallery, a children's stick rodeo, tours of the old Territorial Prison and museum, and live presentations.
