An 18 year old Lander man is dead following a Monday morning one-car rollover on the Wind River Indian Reservation, according to Wyoming Highway Patrol spokesman Sgt. Steve Townsend. The patrol says the victim, 18 year old Clarence Armajo, was southbound in the 400 block of Plunkett Road on the reservation when his 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix failed to negotiate a right hand curve in the roadway, went into a slide and exited the roadway before rolling two and a half times. Townsend says Armajo, who was not wearing a seat belt was ejected from the vehicle during the rollover. He was transported to Lander Valley Medical Center where he later died. Townsend says excessive speed is being investigated as a factor in the crash.
