Kozak:Cops, Bars Working to Reduce Alcohol Issues

Cheyenne Police Chief Brian Kozak says his agency is working with local bars to reduce alcohol-related issues in the community.

The chief says one focus is making sure bar customers are not over served. Along those lines Kozak says the department has produced pamphlets for bar employees and offering training to bar personnel, which he says several bar owners have taken advantage of.

Kozak also says police are keeping the Cheyenne City Council informed about alcohol-related problems in the community, and he says the council is keeping a close eye on the situation.
