Cheyenne Police Chief Brian Kozak says his agency is making progress in it's investigation of a double homicide at a Cheyenne business on July 20.

The shooting deaths of 67-year old Dwight Brockman and 76-year old George Manley occurred during Cheyenne Frontier Days at The Coin Shop on West Lincolnway. Police have released two different sketches of the alleged suspect, although the drawings didn't appear to be of the same person.

Kozak says that while police haven't released much on the killings in recent weeks, "it's still a very active investigation and we've gotten a lot of great leads". He goes on to say "a lot of the leads are going in the same direction".

The chief says police are still waiting for a lot of forensic evidence in the case to be analyzed by a Colorado laboratory. He also says police hope to release more details soon.

Even though Kozak says police have a fair amount of evidence in the case, he is still asking anyone with information on the case to come forward.
