The Cheyenne Regional Medical Center Injury Prevention Program recently received a donation of $16,624 from the Kohl's Department Store, according to program Coordinator Stephanie Heitsch.

The donation was made through the "Kohl's Care's" program, according to Heitsch. She says the program has received over $90,000 in donations from Kohl's since 2007. Heitsch says most of the money is used to make car seats available to people who need them.

She adds the rest of the money will be used for billboards and other educational efforts to inform people about car seat safety.
