Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says he supports Governor Matt Mead's proposed supplemental budget.

Kaysen specifically says he appreciates the governor's proposed supplemental budget allocation of $20 Million for local governments across Wyoming. Kaysen says he met extensively with the governor and some of his aides prior to the release of the proposed budget. Kaysen says he understands the tight budget situation faced by the state, and thinks Mead did a good job in formulating his proposals under difficult  circumstances.

Kaysen adds he supports the entire proposal, even though he is most concerned with the money for local government. The 2013 Wyoming Legislature will convene in a general session on January 8th.
