Kaysen Says Roundabout Will Include Pedestrian Crossings

Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says the Converse/Pershing/19th street roundabout will include numerous crosswalks and signage to allow pedestrians to cross once it is completed.

The mayor says planning for the project included attention to pedestrian access because several schools and retail businesses are located in the area, as is the Cheyenne Veteran’s Administration.

The mayor says at one point both underground tunnels and bridges were considered as a way to improve pedestrian access, but those options would have been too costly
