Kaysen: Cheyenne Frontier Days Going Well

Sam Mallory/Townsquare Media

Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen says he thinks Cheyenne Frontier Days 2014 is going well so far.

The Mayor says his conversations with local merchants, Cheyenne residents and visitors to the area lead him to believe “we’re having a great year”. He goes on to predict “a banner year” when CFD 2014 is in the books.

Meanwhile, Laramie County Sheriff Danny Glick says the event is also going well from a law enforcement viewpoint. He says the crowds “seem more understanding” this year compared to previous years

Glick says law enforcement is trying some different routes and approaches to traffic this year, adding the changes seem to be working well so far.
