There is treasure to be had out there. You just need to know where and how, to look. If you don't know either one, then perhaps you can hook up with a Wyoming treasure hunting club.

Metal detectors can range from very affordable to mega expensive. It just depends on how much you want to put into it. What you find depends on how much research and time searching you want to put into it.

To be a treasure hunter in Wyoming, means you have to be a history buff. Knowing who lived where, when, and why they where living out there, will help with your search for, Lord knows what. Half the fun is never knowing what will be dug up. Most of the time a wild and exciting search leads to nothing. Some times, however, pay dirt, literally.

Just a side note, if you are on public land, there are regulations. Sure there are. Those folks in government have to regulate everything.

There is a lot of unexplored land out there in Wyoming. There is so much lost that it's just begging to be found.
