JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — A national biking advocacy group has ranked the town of Jackson in northwest Wyoming among the top 10 in the country for its bicycle network.

At 67 points out of a possible 100, People for Bikes lists Jackson as the sixth best bicycle network in the country.

People for Bikes is an industry coalition of bicycling retailers and riding enthusiasts. It funds and leverages government funding for community cycling projects and lobbies on behalf of cyclists.

The group recently compiled Bicycle Network Scores for 502 places across the country. It assigned each a score based on bike network connectivity to jobs, schools, services, recreation and more to measure how well bike networks connect people with the places they want to go.
