How To Drive Around Cheyenne When The Winds Are Contrary

Today it is crazy windy and that means unsafe driving conditions on the highways and the byways in the Cowboy State and Cheyenne.  On the Top 5 at 7:45, I'll highlight some tips on how to handle the wind when you're driving. Be careful out there.

1. Other Cars can blow into you - Keep your distance and stay alert
2. You Can be blown off your course - Avoid distractions while you're driving and keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road
3. Watch for debris in the road - Tree limbs, boxes, construction debris on the road can cause damage to your vehicle and a possible car wreck
4. Emergency Gear - Cell phones, flairs, road triangles, etc should be kept in your vehicle, just in case
5. Don't Drive - If you're not confident, stay home
