When most people think of blizzard's in Wyoming, the Storm of the Century: Blizzard of 49' always comes up.  Johnson County, Wyoming actually goes in the records books for most snowfall in one day according to 24/7 Wall St.

On March 21st, 1924, Johnson County, Wyo saw four feet one inch of snowfall in one day.  24/7 Wall St. went through records from the National Centers for Environmental Information at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.  The data was interesting to look at considering the climate change over the years and how it affects precipitation throughout the country.  There are reports that snowfall has decreased across America because of the warmer temperatures.

The largest snowfall in one day happened in Boulder County, Colorado in 1921, six feet four inches.
