CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — HollyFrontier Cheyenne refinery pledged $95,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Cheyenne in 2015 and 2016.

The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports  that the latest donation brings the refiner's three-year commitment to $285,000. HollyFrontier has donated or pledged $855,000 from 2009 to 2017.

The announcement came as representatives from the refinery helped plant a tree in honor of Earth Day in front of the club's new $5.9 million clubhouse.

HollyFrontier is one of the Boys and Girls Club of Cheyenne's biggest donors. In 2009 the refinery began sponsoring educational programs with the organization.

The Boys and Girls club provides after-school and summer programs for kids ages 6-18.
