If you own a Mazda, then you could be in trouble even if you have an older model. In the midst of all these automotive recalls, models made in the 1990's are having issues.

Recently, Mazda came out and advised that if you have a 1990's model Mazda, then you need to be aware of faulty ignition switches.

The reason that 5 million Mazda's are being recalled is because the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration sent out a notice advising that the ignition switches could get hot and start a fire.

Mazda has stated that automobile owners will receive a notice in the mail advising them to have the ignition switches replaced for free.

If you have a used Mazda and may not receive a notice, you may call them at 1-800-222-5500 for more information and inquiries.
