We recently took a poll among coffee drinkers, who also enjoy listening to the radio, to see which coffee joint in the Capital City is their favorite. The results are in and here they are.

It was a bit of a mixed bag. By mixed bag, we mean that we had names of coffee shops in Cheyenne that might qualify for a favorite.

However, we did allow folks to type in their favorite shop which included places like the Coffee Depot, Crema Coffee Wagon and even Carl's Jr. Over 40 percent of voters picked these places in Cheyenne.

But here are the results for the coffee joints that people voted as their favorite.

  1. The Paramount Cafe - Almost 28 percent voted the coffee joint on Capital Avenue to be their favorite. Art displays, open mic night, bubble tea and, or course, coffee was the number one pic in the poll.
  2. Starbucks - This came in a far third place with just over 10 percent of the vote.
  3. Dazbog - A popular coffee joint on the north side of Yellowstone came in at 9%
  4. The Library Cafe - If you're looking for a good cup o' joe which you read, then this is the place to go. About 7 percent of voters liked this one.
  5. City Newsstand Bookstore - They may not have been voted for the best coffee in town, but no one can deny that they have the best popcorn. 2.25 percent voted 'yes' for the best coffee in town.

Keep in mind that these are not scientific polls, but rather a way for us to hear from you about the very thing that helps you get a great start to your day!
