There's nothing like taking your dog out for a good walk, ride  or just for fun, but where are the hot spots in Cheyenne that are "dog friendly?"Today on the top 5 at 7:45, I'll highlight some places that are good for your dog to go in Cheyenne.

  1. Nancy Mockler Dog Park - I'll tell you what, this is a great place for exercise, fun, training and an all around place for your pooch to socialize.
  2. Terry Bison Ranch - It's not just a great place to eat bison burgers. TBR is a great place for your dog to run and stretch his legs after a long time on the road. There is a handy dog walking area at the campground for them to take a stroll.
  3. Critter Park Pet-Wash - This is a great self serve pet wash. You provide the labor and they provide the tubs, towels, shampoos, grooming materials and fun. A great place in Cheyenne to take your pet. They also have a pharmacy tech on hand to handle all of your dogs meds and pharmaceutical needs.
  4. Cheyenne Animal Shelter - A great place to pick up supplies that your dog might need. The friendly staff is on hand to answer any questions you might have. It's amazing how many people I meet that have adopted pets through CAS.
  5. Cheyenne Botanic Gardens - Your dog can roam the gardens (on a leash of course), while you view the beauty of the gardens.
