JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) — Cancel that stamp for Grand Teton National Park.

The U.S. Postal Service is issuing commemorative stamps for the National Park Service, and the iconic park, one of the nation's national park gems, didn't make the cut. The Park Service says it was a hard decision, but there were a limited number of stamps being issued.

Grand Teton park spokeswoman Denise Germann says a stamp featuring an Albert Bierstadt painting of an alpine lake backed by the Tetons on a stamp honoring Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park will have to do for now.

The Jackson Hole News and Guide reports the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park is outside Woodstock, Vermont, one of the homes of Laurence Rockefeller, who also had a vacation ranch in Teton park.
