Grand Opening Held For New WYDOT Driver Services Center

Wyoming Department of Transportation officials held a grand opening ceremony Monday for the agency's new driver services center in Cheyenne.

The facility is located at 1520 Etchepare Circle south of Cheyenne just off of Interstate 25. Don Eddington of WYDOT says that even though the building housing the new location was built in 1975, it's roomier than the previous Cheyenne center and better equipped to serve the public.

Eddington says the new location has actually been functioning as the driver services center since April 24, adding that so far he's heard nothing but positive comments from the public on the new location.
