Governor Matt Mead is proposing cuts to the state budget proposal he submitted to state legislators in December. Doug Randall reports. The U. S. Department of Agriculture Friday announced a proposed rule that would modernize the country’s poultry slaughter inspection system by shifting toward a more prevention-oriented format.
