Governor Matt Mead has named Peter Michael as the interim Wyoming Attorney General. Michael replaces the Honorable Greg Phillips who started work on the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals Monday. Peter Michael was Phillips’ Deputy Attorney General. Governor Mead said he is “ very proud of my friend Greg Phillips and know that he will be an outstanding judge.”  He thanked Michael for “ for stepping forward to provide leadership while I look to appoint a new Attorney General. "  Michael is the lead state's attorney in the case filed by Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill against the Stae of Wyoming and Governor Matt Mead.
