Gov. Mead Names Bridget Hill State Lands Director

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — A lawyer with the Wyoming Attorney General's Office will serve as the new director of the state Office of State Lands and Investments.

Gov. Matt Mead announced Wednesday that Bridget Hill will replace outgoing director Ryan Lance, who is moving to the private sector.

Renny MacKay is spokesman for Mead. McKay says that Hill be will paid $126,000 a year when she takes over the office after Lance leaves later this month.

Hill has worked for the AG's Office for eight years and has been assigned as lawyer for the Office of State Lands and Investments for the past six years. She holds a law degree from the University of Wyoming and grew up on her family ranch near Saratoga.
