CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — Big game hunters in Wyoming are asked to complete a harvest survey for the state Game and Fish Department.

The agency contracts a company named Tetra Tech to conduct the surveys for antelope, deer and elk. Some 107,000 postcards have been mailed to resident and nonresident hunters asking them to complete their harvest survey online.

Hunters with internet access can use their personal password provided on the green postcard to complete the survey online. Hunters who do not respond via the Internet will be mailed the hard-copy survey.

Gail Sheridan, of the Game and Fish Department, says the online survey is the most efficient way for a hunter with Internet access to respond.
