The Cheyenne Animal Shelter Fur Ball 2014 is scheduled for March 15 at Little America.

Cheyenne Animal Shelter employee Katie Emmons says the event will kick off with a “yappy hour,” featuring drinks and socializing. A “surf and turf” dinner will follow, along with a silent and live auction that includes vacation homes and helicopter rides. The evening will conclude with an opportunity to adopt six puppies that Emmons refers to as “adorable”.

The fur ball is the shelter’s main fundraising event of the year. Tickets are $100 per person and are available at the shelter website.
