Free “Start Your Own Business” classes will be happening on June 20th as part of the National Celebration of “Small Business Week” from June 17th through June 21st.

According to the release from the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), the state of Wyoming will have a free “Start Your Own Business” seminar offered for the public in six different locations throughout the state of Wyoming. The locations are as follows: Casper’s Small Business Development Center Conference Room; Newcastle’s Weston County Library; Powell’s Northwest College Center for Training & Development; Riverton’s Riverton Library-Children’s Theater; Green River’s Western Wyoming Community College; and Wheatland’s Platte County Library. You can get more information on these locations on their exclusive website. All the classes will be on Thursday, June 20th from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. State Director Jill Kline wanted to say “if people can’t attend this seminars in person, there will be webinars available and you can log onto our website for all the information.”

Kline goes onto say “the start your own business class will give people the opportunity to learn how to start their own business if they are looking for a career change, want to do something new, have a business idea, what the process is to start a business, and see if it’s right for them.” Kline adds “we aren’t to preach that starting your own business is the only way to succeed and that this might not for be everybody, but you’re not going to know that unless you attend our seminar or go online for our webinars.”

Kline stated “people who primarily have attended this seminars in the past have been between the ages of 30 to 50 years old, but we are extending our arms to any adult who wants to learn about the pros and cons of starting their own business to attend a seminar.” Kline added “starting your own business can be a difficult process and you want to make sure you got everything covered to run a successful operation.”

The SBDC release says all sessions are free of charge, but please register at this following website. To register for the online session go to this website.
