How much do you know about being firewise?

You can find out a whole lot more on Saturday, May 3, at the Curt Gowdy State Park Visitor Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. during the Wyoming State Forestry's free 2014 Firewise Education Day event.Smokey Bear will be there to meet kids of all ages and lots of free education material will be available. Learn about defensible space, tree health and wind breaks plus find out about the Thirty Foot Challenge and being a Firewise Community.

During the event, Granite Springs Retreat will be recognized as a Wyoming Firewise Community.
