ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) — A 28-year-old Rock Springs man accused of sexually abusing a minor has been sentenced to four separate life prison terms.

Byron Nelson Griggs was arrested June 26, 2012, and charged with four counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor. He was convicted on all counts during a trial in August and was sentenced Wednesday.

Sweetwater County Sheriff Rich Haskell says Griggs will spend the rest of his life in prison because there is no possibility of parole.

In 2004, Griggs was convicted in Laramie County of second-degree sexual assault.
