Former Wyoprep Athletes Playing For Laramie County CC In NJCAA Soccer Championship Tournament

The high school fall sports season is over, but for some former Wyoming high school athletes, the season ends this week (November 12-17), and there’s a chance to get some national recognition.

The women’s soccer team at Laramie County Community College out of Cheyenne, will also be competing at the Junior College National Championship Tournament in Melbourne, Florida.

The Lady Golden Eagles have a record of 13-2, and feature these former Wyoming high school athletes:

Jessica England – Star Valley

Marissa Schultz – Gillette

Trista Fortuna – Gillette

Kelli Nystrom – Pinedale

Victoria Arenas – Cheyenne East

Taylor Hockley – Kelly Walsh

Meghan Frank – Cheyenne Central

Alysha Honaker – Cheyenne Central

Jim Gardner is the coach of LCCC, and he is also the girls coach at Cheyenne East.
