K2 Radio News has received information that the former Victims Services Coordinator for the Casper Police Department, James Holscher, has been arrested for 2nd degree sexual assault and exploitation of a vulnerable adult.

Casper Police Chief Jim Wetzel would only say that Holscher is no longer employed by Casper PD.

A spokesperson for the Sheriff's Office also said that the man arrested was not a Casper police officer but an employee of the city. He could not confirm the charge.

K2 though, has obtained the documents that name Holscher and the charges involved.

The Victim's Services Coordinator is not required to be a police officer, but is a civilian employee.

Documents show the investigation began in June, and the arrest was made on Friday.

Holscher also worked as the Deputy Natrona County Coroner.

Tom Morton was responsible for much of the research on this story.
