Laramie County Clerk Debra Lee said Monday afternoon that 1,963 Laramie County voters had cast 2018 primary election ballots at last report.

That represents roughly five percent of the county's registered voters.

Lee said her office has mailed out almost 1900 ballots since early voting began on July 6. Registered voters can request a ballot by calling (307) 633-4242 or by emailing election@laramiecountyclerk.com.

In order for the ballot to be counted, voters must return their absentee ballot to the clerk's office no later than 7 p.m. on August 21, the day of the primary election.

Through Monday, August 20 voters can also cast early ballots in the Atrium of the Laramie County Governmental Complex between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. weekdays.

On primary election day, voters will be able to cast ballots at any of 13 voting centers between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
