First National Bank Changes Name and Charter

First National Bank of Wyoming will begin operating as Capital West Bank, beginning Monday 12/31. Capital West President and CEO Kelso Kelly, says signs will change and customers will notice an updated logo, but there are no planned changes to management or personnel, or to the high level of customer care. Kelly says the change of the company’s charter from a national to a state bank enhances its ability to meet local and regional banking needs.The bank was founded in Laramie in 1964, has branches in Laramie, Cheyenne and the Fort Collins area.
