Fire Destroys Cheyenne Apartment

A standalone apartment at 1010 W. 30th Street was destroyed by a fire Friday afternoon.No injuries were reported. An occupant in the house was able to flee the structure when the fire started. Two dogs in the apartment perished.Cheyenne firefighters were called to the scene at 3:30 p.m. Firefighters had the fire out in about 15 minutes. Cause of the fire is under investigation. The occupants are being assisted by the Cheyenne Firefighters Burnout Fund and the American Red Cross.
