The Cheyenne City Council will consider a resolution to support all requests made by Laramie County communities for State Land and Investment Board (SLIB) funding on Monday.

Although Cheyenne only submits funding requests for projects in the city, county communities have traditionally joined together to support all of their requests before the board, which is made up of Wyoming's five statewide  elected officials.

The Finance Committee on Monday is also scheduled to consider an agreement between the Cheyenne Police Department and Brazos Technology of Texas for electronic citation equipment for the department.

The equipment will essentially do away with the writing of traditional paper traffic tickets, and will also allow police to access information on motorists--including warrants from outside the area--immediately
