The Cheyenne City Council Finance Committee on Monday gave it's approval for the city to sell three homes in the Morrie Avenue-Fifth street area to the Cheyenne Housing Authority. The three homes were originally purchased by the city to clear the way for work on the Norris Viaduct project, but city officials say the project was able to proceed without those properties. The finance committee agreed to a sale price of $4,441.72, which was the amount the city had invested in the homes for appraisals and other expenses. The homes are located at 515 Morrie Avenue, 916 East Fifth street, and 922 East fifth street. The full city council must approve the deal before it is finalized.
