Fight Over Food Leads To Aggravated Assault Arrest

Cheyenne Police were called to 1621 Evans Ave. #6 on Jan. 20 at 3:20 p.m. after getting a call about disturbance, according to spokesman Officer Dan Long.

Long says Rick Studer, 56, of Cheyenne, was arrested and booked into the Laramie County jail on an aggravated assault charge and on a warrant for failure to appear.

Long says officers found Bruce Duda, 48, of Cheyenne, unconscious in the
entryway of the residence.

A fight between Studer and Duda is believed to have started over an arguement about food. Long says alcohol may have been a factor,

Duda was sent to the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center by ambulance, his current condition is unknown.

The case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
